Your website has sample product categories by default. Product categories improve browsing experience of your eCommerce website. Following steps will help you create Product Categories and assign products to them.
- Login to your Admin account then click on Products.
- Click on Categories. Enter Name, Description (optional) and scroll down.
- Optionally Upload/Add image to your category. Click on Add new category.
- The new category can be seen on the right hand side.
- To add products to this category, go to Products
- Choose product and click on Edit.
- Select the category in which you want to add this product.
- Click on Update to save changes.
- Other way to add product to your category is using Quick Edit.
- Select the category in which you want to add this product.
- Click on Update.
- Please click on View to see the category on website.
- Check how it will look on the website.
